Life After Brain Injury Program

The Life After Brain Injury Program is a peer education and support program facilitated but a Registered Social Worker.  The 8-week program, conducted in eight  90 minute sessions will provide participants with the opportunity to learn the tools to help with the ongoing challenge of rebuilding their lives post acquired brain injury. The program material will be done in a group setting and participants will have the chance to share their experiences with peers while acquiring new skills. 

Topics that will be covered in the Life After Brain Injury program:

  • Fatigue
  • Attention and Focus
  • Memory
  • Anger and Irritability
  • Emotional Regulation
  • Sensory Sensitivity

Sessions are run 4 times a year with both IN PERSON and VIRTUAL options.
