Education Sessions
Our education sessions are both in person and virtual depending on the session. The virtual sessions have been put on the NBIS YouTube channel and are geared for people with acquired brain injury/stroke and their family caregivers. All our workshops are facilitated by people in our Nanaimo community who have expertise in their field and volunteer their time to share their knowledge with our clients and caregivers. The sessions are chosen based on client requests/feedback and cover a wide range of topics including: Financial Planning, Nutrition, Anxiety and Depression, Yoga & Meditation, Healthy Boundaries, Grief & Loss, Caregiver Strategies
In person education sessions are still happening throughout the year. Please check the NBIS events calendar for more information on dates and times.
