Welcome Kate! New NBIS Peer Support Program Assistant

NBIS peer support program assistant, Kate, has been hard at work supporting volunteers within and without the hospital. Each week, Kate meets with scheduled volunteers at the NRGH Rehabilitation Unit and helps them prepare for their shifts visiting with patients who are recovering from acquired brain injury. From ensuring volunteers have the support they need, to offering invaluable peer support herself to patients and fellow peers, Kate helps keep the peer support program running gracefully and efficiently. Thank you Kate for all the ways you strengthen the NBIS volunteer program!
