Camilla Arnold

Camilla graduated from VIU with a degree in English and Psychology with distinction, then continued to UVic where she obtained her Master’s degree in English with an interest in ecosystems and how they help us heal and bring us meaning. Camilla has over ten years’ experience providing care and advocating for a family member with a disability. Combined with her own personal experiences including healing from an acquired brain injury, this has fostered a deep curiosity for her about the connections between healing, community, and holding tightly to the things that bring us joy. Camilla remains passionate about helping provide a genuinely nurturing and supportive environment for those living with and affected by brain injury, which led her to NBIS. Outside of work, when she isn’t writing or looking at plants, Camilla is spending time with her loved ones, including her pomchi, Osa.
