Camilla Arnold
Volunteer Coordinator
Camilla graduated from VIU with a degree in English and Psychology, then continued to UVic where she obtained her Master’s degree in English with a special interest in ecosystems and how they help us heal and bring us meaning. Camilla has fifteen years’ experience providing care and advocating for a family member with a disability. Combined with her own personal experiences including healing from and living with acquired brain injury, this has fostered a deep curiosity for her about the connections between health, community, and holding tightly to the things that bring us joy. Camilla remains passionate about helping provide a genuinely nurturing and supportive environment for those living with and affected by brain injury, which led her to NBIS. Outside of work, when she isn’t writing, dancing, or looking at plants, Camilla is spending time with her loved ones, including her pomchi, Osa.
